My name is Pam Audette, and I am writing, on behalf of my family, to say thank you to the entire staff of Chateau Pierrefonds. My parents have resided at the Chateau for over a year, and I am in constant awe of everyone that work to ensure their safety and comfort. The administrative team of Monique and Pierre, together with their employees and volunteers, have all gone above and beyond. The medical team, the kitchen team, the maintenance team, the custodial team, the laundry team, and the activities coordinator all bring a solid professionalism to the iconic building.
When I had a tour of the Chateau in October 2021, I was taken by the beauty of the historic building. Pierre took time to give my husband and I a tour of the facility. The courtyard was the first thing to catch my attention. The gardens were lovingly tended as were as the coy fish and delightful chickens. I foresaw many peaceful hours for my parents there. The building was spotless. The dining hall was set for lunch, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. What didn’t occur to me at the time, was all that it takes to create an atmosphere as welcoming as this. The army of people in the building that ensure everyone’s needs are met.
Seniors are a unique demographic. Every resident has exclusive needs. Physically, mentally, dietarily, and emotionally each requires personal attention. They all receive it. They are treated with respect and dignity. Every family is secure in the knowledge that their loved one is safe and secure.
In closing, I would like to thank you again for all you do for our beloved parents. Medically, physically, socially, emotionally, their needs are respectfully met with a smile every day. Please know that it has not gone unnoticed.

From my experience, probably the best place you can find in the West-Island of Montreal, so glad my father has chosen this residence, familly owned with a caring team, they truly care for your loved ones! The owners are there in their office every day, that alone tells a lot on how much they care. My father was blessed to be able to pass such time in this amazing residence! Definitely recommend it to everyone, and they are really affordable with no suprise fees, compared to others residence I inquired. I will never thank enough Monique and Pierre(the owners) and the whole team at Chateau-Pierrefonds for the care they provided to my father, and the help and peacefulness they provided to our familly!

Ma mère y a séjourné pendant deux ans 2014-2016 et ce fut deux années de pur bonheur pour elle et nous les enfants.
La direction, tout le personnel, la nourriture, l'ambiance qui y régnait, les activités multiples, les dîners spéciaux, les BBQ et activités extérieures l'été... ont fait que malgré ses 94 ans bien sonnés, elle ne s'est jamais ennuyée une seconde.!
Une vie de Château avec une ambiance familiale !

Thank you. The words seem inadequate in comparison to how grateful we, the Redmond family, are for how well you took care of our beloved Eileen for almost 5 years.
You made the Chateau Pierrefonds her home and you and your dedicated staff new additions to her family.
(…) You doted over her from day one to make sure she was okay and managing a new transition at a most difficult time. What more can a family hope but to have their loved one in a safe and loving family-like environment.
Eileen told us stories of the staff with pure joy. She made real connections and for that humanity we will be forever grateful.
The only complaint I heard in all her time with you was that the food portions were too generous. :) Did I mention how much she raved about the desserts?
Eileen came from very humble means and I cannot express my gratitude that she could afford to live her final golden years with you.
I never had the privilege to meet your parents, but I can only imagine how proud they are of how brilliantly you are running the Chateau.

We would like to thank Monique and Pierre Laplante of Chateau Pierrefonds for their compassion, flexibility and understanding in dealing with our mother's exceptional situation.
Our plan to move our mother to the Chateau changed at the last minute due to her worsening medical condition.
We are heartbroken that she never had the chance to experience the warm homey atmosphere that is apparent the minute you visit the Chateau. Nor that she never had the chance to take part in the numerous activities offered on site.
Take time to visit this residence which offers the perfect solution for semi autonomous seniors - you will not look any further.

I wanted to take this time to thank you for a lovely cocktail celebration in recognition of the prestigious Chateau Pierrefonds 30th anniversary!
We were blessed with a sunshine filled afternoon, accompanied with wonderful people, delicious canapés, cold beverages, smiling volunteers/staff members and an extremely talented musician/singer, Jean, whom entertained us for 2 hrs straight.....and did we dance and have a blast !!
Once again, congratulations to the Laplante Family for creating a beautiful residence situated in a tranquil area surrounded by natures natural beauty of trees and a lake; where seniors are treated with compassion, daily tender loving care and feel secured.
When visiting family members we experience the warm welcoming when entering the doors.
Chateau Pierrefonds is a home where everyone experiences the daily "Joie de Vivre".

Bonjour je visite ma tante Lucette Blagrave Giraldeau assez régulièrement je dîne avec les autres résidents et les repas sont excellents et peu coûteux pour les familles. Je peux faire des activités avec elle et ses amies de l Oasis.Le personnel est toujours gentil et souriant.Bravo à Madame Monique son frère et toute l équipe.

J’habite ici depuis 2012. Je me sens chez moi, en famille. Les propriétaires, Pierre et Monique Laplante, ainsi que tous les employés sont chaleureux sensibles à nos besoins. Nathalie, la récréologue, que j’aime beaucoup trouve toujours des activités intéressantes pour nous.
